Remember I asked for prayer for my brother well his 60 days are up Thursday and he still has not found a place. They have 2 boys at home and really need a miracle please pray!!! :cry:

Can't he do something for extra time? When we were told the house we were renting had been sold, we were given 60 days. We were told by a real estate agent that we could have gotten extensions. She said tenants have more rights than the landlords, really. I hope it all works out for him and his family.
He was taken to court for an eviction hearing 2 months ago My husband and I attended The new owner is a church ( of all things a church involved in Real estate.) :roll: Any how they gave him a 60 day extention with the last months rent free!! I am really upset at this whole mess. He has to be out today!!! His Step-mother has agreed to let him stay with her for a short time. He isnt happy about it. All of his things were put into storage. what a mess!!! All my brother can really say is that he is not worried God will come through!!! For those of you who missed the story of my brother here it is again He has crippling arthritis so he can not work he has 3 boys one of which went into the job core so he wouldnt be homeless. A few years ago my sister in law was struck while riding her bike home from work by a drunk teenager on another bike. She was thrown from the bike and had severe head injuries as which she has lost a part of her brain and her skull. She survived but has sezuries often. He has no money because when the case finally settled he owed that many doctor bills he was able to buy a decent car (badly needed). He was renting this house with the option to buy but when the elderly lady died the contract was void because she owed alot of money so he could eithe buy it or hope the new owners would continue renting w/ opt. to buy. A church 2 blocks away bought his house and wants him out!!! No other decision just O U T !! They want a church member to receive the house. My brother is a Christian and has a strong faith even though he does not attend church due to health problems. My brother can't afford the $$$ drugs so he relies on God everyday to help him deal with the pain. Sad story right!! wait it gets worse!! The pastor of the church said at his hearing that it was convienent for my brother to bring 2 ministers(me and my husband) and a news paper reporter(who is covering this churches shaky realestate dealings)to his hearing!!! My brother stood before the judge and said. Mam I have never been late with my rent I always pay on time, I have done alot of repairs to the home, All of my bills are paid and the matter of who came with me to court is not the issue. The issue is that the kids are starting school in 2 days. I have no $$ to buy clothes for them because I need to have a security deposit for a new place. This man is more worried about who I brought to court with me than the fact that a family of 5 is about to be homeless. What kind os Christian love is that?? Ok now I have vented enough and the dishes arent gonna wash themselves.!! :wink:
