    A contrast in schools: Home vs. public
    July 18, 2004

    Halfway through his freshman year, Joshua Garlick, 15, decided that public high school wasn't for him. The Northborough teen had been to a private school for his elementary education and home schooled during junior high. He wanted to try public school, but soon after he began, he missed the ability to explore his own subjects and learn at his own pace. Here he talks about the pros and cons of being a home-school student vs. a public high school student.
