I don't know if anyone is familiar with www.bookcrossing.com but it is a very nice website. People register their books on the site. Many peple then leave the book(s) for others to find at various locations (PO, store, bus depot, ect), or give them away on the website, exchange them other users for books, trade for postage, or even mark them as part of their permanent collection. There are many great forums, even one for librarians and educators and another for book wishes. I have located some much needed books for our homeschooling this way and saved alot of money while at it. The site has many things to offer, more than I can list here. It is worth checking out. It is also a nice way to pass on books that just aren't needed any more. We even donated some books through the site to a library starting in Nebo, IL (I think it was in IL, can't remember for sure at the moment. I hope this is helpful. It is best to register books to trade before posting on the book wishes forum, only so other users know you are serious - some users have been taken advantage of from what I've read. Any way I thought this was worth mentioning as a favorite website of mine.
