I had asked her if she had ever learned a certain topic in math and she said that she either never learned it or missed school the day they taught it. That is when she mentioned the beauty of hsing and that you just pick up the next day where you left off and never miss the new topics.
You know how people say " I missed that day in school"? Well, I had the chicken pox when they taught state capitals. To this day I don't know over half of them. lol. My dd knows just about all of them..LOL. She never missed that day or week in school.
Ava Rose, that is really true! And I really have no concept of Am. History beyond Reconstruction, because that was as far as we ever got! By April, we would always stop for end of year testing, assemblies, fun days, etc.
