Some time ago, I met a young man online by the name of Erik who writes a blog called This Kid Reviews Books. He's a very advanced fourth grader with a passion for reading. How neat!!! I shared it with my middle child. We've never heard of Bad Kitty. She's interested, but says she wants to read some of the books first to "know" the character. I'm really impressed with this young man!
OK, Michelle! Faythe stopped by the library on the way to Youth Group tonight and brought home about three of the Bad Kitty books. We've never heard of them, partly because my youngest is 11, and was probably "out" of picture books before they came around. She really thinks this is a neat idea!
Sorry, I just haven't been able to get on here very frequently this month... Jackie, how cool that Faythe checked this out! Did she write an entry? Did she enjoy the books? I haven't heard from Erik yet, but the contest must be close to wrapping up. Isn't he an amazing kid? I hope he had a great turn-out. Erik's mom told me that he's so advanced (and bored with school) that she's thinking of homeschooling next year. I recommended this site and all of you...
