Catchy Title? Okay, I volunteer this year as a drama teacher at the school I let my dd and older ds attend in thier senior years ( It is a school run by a home school parent who now teaches using SOS and Mus, and CLE and Ace) He teaches home school style but its in a group setting... Okay Ds 12 got to come with and join in Drama class and feild trips because we were the teacher, so now my son who didnt care to ever go to school until college, wants to know when he can go out. He wants to go all through High School like bigb rother did, and dh and I said maybe for senior year like sister! sigh He and I talked about it and he said he really likes the group class things. I was thinking of teaching Math at the school next year for his sake but I ca only do it if I can do it on a day I am already going to the church because of the gas prices now days. I volunteer to teach no pay for gas. I am wondering what to do. So, what would you do?>??? ds will do 8th grade next year and I have been so loking forward to the years ahead doing more exiting feild trips in US when we study us HISTORY, GOIGN TO HISTORICAL SITES, oops yelled a bit. I know I have a whole year to think about it and pray but I know some of you have send yoru kids out, or been involved in schools outside, bigger home school groups and such, I like my ds how he is, I dont want him picking upthe rude language or snyde remarks the other kids use. I see that happening already with this group at our church's school... okay so my question is: or Are?: What changes can I make that would give ds a group setting type learning, but still home school.. maybe this is just a phase too, its that age it seems! I think I will plan to keep hsing through high school and eventually if God leads then let him go, I reminded him of how we prayed and looked to God for a clear cut answer for dd and for ds both. God came through when it was the right time. So since I mentioned that I will ask this too----- did any of you pray first before sending our your child with a desire to be "in class'?
