I dont get to post as often as I like anymore, but for those of you that remember our looooong journey of adopting Jessie I thought I'd fill you in on whats happening. On Thursday Aug. 24th we are going to court to finalize Jessie's adoption!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise God!!!!!!!! I want to thank so many of you that have prayed for us during those horrible bad times when I thought we would lose our little girl. Your messages of encouragement and friendship help to hold me together. One last BIG thank you for prayers and thoughts over the last year and a half!!!!!
I am praising with you, even though I wasn't around back when you first announced this. My brother is adopted and has been such a blessing to our family. He is a gift from God and has brought so much joy into all our lives. I am so happy for you all. God bless!!! Patty
YEHAAAA!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS to the family!!! I am looking forward to meeting Jesse next summer. One day, that little gal will have an idea about how much you all wanted her, and all the people praying for her! How's Heidi doing with her adoption?
I am so happy for you. I haven't been here long so I don't know the story of Jesse but I do know about adoption. I have fostered 116 kids and adopted 4. Our 13year old daughter came to us at 3 years old and it took 4years of anxious waiting and a lot of prayers before we could finally say she was ours forever. I tell people the waiting is worse than labor! I know you are so excited and I hope all goes well on the 24th.

CRYSTAL---WOOHOO! Oh man, how exciting is that?!!! I am just soooo happy for you all! Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!! Wish we all lived closer together so we could have a party on the 24th! It's possible that I'll be able to meet you all next summer too--I hope so! She's always been YOUR little girl, but I'm just sooo glad this rollercoaster ride is over and you'll have the papers to prove it!

Crystal, This is strange but we got our baby when she was 3 weeks old and she turned 8 on June 15. By the way, she was baptized this morning at our church. She is the last of my 7 kids to be baptized. God is so good.
Praise God! And Congratulations! I have to add that I was adopted when I was 9 yrs. old. And that is something that I will always be grateful for. And in turn when my husband and I adopted our oldest son it was like my life had finally made it full circle. People that adopt children sometimes do not have it easy but the love that they have to share is something that is just so beautiful. You have my admiration.
