Okay ladies... you always seem to know exactly where to find something! I am counting on you! I am looking for alphabet templates. Do you remember in elementary school how there would be an alphabet posted on the wall (usually as a train)?? I want something like this, but I want it to have arrows to show HOW to form the letters. Any ideas of where I could find something like this?? I have tried googling to see if I can find a printable one, but I don't think I am typing in the correct search words. Thanks in advance!
I had those several years ago (except without the arrows). I got mine at the local teacher store when we lived in IL. I don't know if they carried any with the arrows then or not. Do you have a Parent/Teacher Store near you?
Would these work? http://www.shirleys-preschool-activities.com/free-preschool-alphabet-worksheets.html They are just worksheet size--not sure if that is what you are looking for. You need to scroll to the bottom of the page to download.
Here are some that are more manuscript than traditional: http://www.abcteach.com/free/d/dnfont_manuscript_alphabet_arrows_practice.pdf
Tbog as a former preschool teacher I think that ABCFUn&a-2-3 one looks awsome! if anyone is out there looking for help preschool homeschooling check it out! May I add that one thing we used to do though is "Around the World with the A B Cs" which was actually around the room ! We did an art project with ABCS and each letter was a different week, we worked our way around the room with the letters.. there is also an alphabet with bible verses on it that a friend gave us and we used that in our early years as well.
I am contmeplating taking a 2/3 yr old preschool class in two years, once dd is in sr high so this is good to remember all the fun I had at it! THANK YOU!
This is perfect! I think I can copy and paste something together that will work! Thank you so much. It is hard to search (and find) something when I have a very specific image in my head of what it should look like. Thanks for doing the work for me.
I got most of my letter stuff from the dollar stores and from preschool express. I am getting ready to start my 2nd year of preschool. My preschoolers are only 3 and 4, no need to advance them quite yet.
I found some choices for purchased, pre-printed ones here. Perhaps you'll find what you have pictured in your mind.
