There are some books for school that I want to purchase from Amazon.
Is it easy to exchange or return an item? I buy music and other things from Amazon but never had to return anything. I do not want to spend money for school books if it isn't easy to return. I just want to be prepared.

    Thanks!:D

I've returned a watch before. No problem at all! (Be sure you're actually buying from Amazon, though... not one of their partners.)

I think we have only had to return to them once, but order all of the time. No problem with the return, and we always have a peace of mind ording knowing that the return policy is favorable. Very true about making sure it is actually Amazon and not someone selling through them.

Like previous two posts said, make sure it is Amazon you're buying from. My brother bought special sunglasses, and when they turned out to be the wrong type, he had the hardest time returning them. They had terrible customer service. But I do know it was a vendor on Amazon that he had bought from.

I buy books occasionally, but have never returned anything. My merchandise has always been in good shape when I received it.

If you're thinking of returning stuff.....maybe a brick/mortar store is to be preferred?

So far we have had not problems with returns. I bought a toy model airplane to build not to just open and play (due to late night shoppig) and went to Amazon to return it. It's thru a vendor with Amazon. The only problems with Amazon is when it says my shipment will be here by such n such date don't apply to the vendors of Amazon. Other than that I have had good serivces with Amazon and vendors thru Amazon.
