This time a young man 14, was killed while racing on a country road. Friday afternoon, two young men were racing, one in a jeep and the other on a dirtbike. The one on the dirtbike was in the wrong lane, when a they toped a hill a truck came over and plowed into the dirtbike. Neither the young man nor the truck dirver ever saw eachother comming. He was layed to rest this morning. He was a student at the school that my dh teaches at. He was in the 8th grade. :cry: Please pray for this family.
I am so sorry to hear about this. Last week my hubby's best friend called late at night to tell us his 14yo son had stolen the family van and was last spotted driving off without paying for gas about 60 miles south of their town. :cry: We all were in prayer that the Lord would change his heart. And he did. The boy returned unharmed--although the parents are letting him reap the legalities of it all. It could have been just as tragic (he was 14 and traveling on interstate). Praying for the family.
