They have a Spanish class being offered for June for $1 and I'm thinking about signing us up for it. There are some other classes that have peaked my interest and I was just wondering if they were worth the month.
My ds13 just completed the writing class. I can't say that it was really much of a class. Just some tutorials posted on a website with a forum where you could post your work. It got him writing, so something was accomplished. I'm thinking of signing up for the Spanish, too!
Wow. Really? My kids ADORED it...still are. I would say it's not "complete" but had neat experiments and worksheets. And it sparked an interest for my kids, and to me, that's what learning is all about. I thought that they'd be bored having to watch videos, answer questions, etc. But they LOVED it. We're in our last week. My kids love Professor H and want to take more classes from him. I'm thinking about approaching them to teach an on-line cooking class, maybe! LOL
Well...he is sort of a dork But, see, I'm married to a geek!!! LOL He doesn't really LOOK like my husband, but I think my kids like him because he is sorta like their dad! LOL
He does have that "science teacher" kind of nerdy-ness.. that they think is humor. Funny how most science teachers I ever had have that same personality..lol.
we did the writing class, glad it was free I wouldn't of paid for it. Like Pam said it wasn't a class.
I signed up for the American Girl book "club" and the Mr. Popper's Penguins just for fun in the summer. Ok - I just wanted to read Mr Popper's Penguins and this was an excuse to read it - LOL
