I got some FIMO at Goodwill and thought we would use it to make our pots for the archeology study in Ancient History. BUT I have never worked with it before. Does it get softer and can it be too old? There are many colors and a kneading medium(will this make it soft?). I have instructions on baking. My kids love clay and I know they will work it as long as they need to to make it soft. Any help? Re:Fimo My mother looves Fimo so sometimes when my daughter and I visit there and Gabby is bored Grandma pulls out the Fimo--- and my do the hours fly by! I've never seen a kneading medium though. Fimo is great because it will not get hard until you cook it, no matter how long you leave it out. I beleive a good work over with a warm hand will get it easier to work with. But overall I just have had fun with it, don't really know all that much about it's details. We use clear fingernail polish to make a small magnet we made look shiney- and other ingenius things of the like, lol. Have fun with it and good luck learning about it.
