I have a 10th grader. Next year my son will be doing 9th grade.

Add me as a friend on PM or email me. Would love to know someone in the same situation as I am. :)

My ds is 15 and in 10th grade. It would be nice to add another section to the spot for high school.

Ems is and isn't in high school! LOL Her birthday was after the cut off date but we started anyways. So we are working on high school work but according to the affidavit, she is in 8th grade. She will be 14 in a few months.

I've got a Senior and a Sophmore, both girls. And Phillip, who is starting Middle School! My oldest is formally "not" being homeschooled. We enrolled her in Cyber-school so she can take free college classes this year through PSEO.

I agree, Brooke, it sure would be nice to have a high school section. Can we make an appeal to do so?

Cool! Well, we could certainly support each other! Thanks for the support I've already received!

I have a freshman and senior both boys. I only have 4 more years of homeschooling. :(

I know at the end of this year I will have my first "leaving the nest" then I will really need support!

Talllattee, you and I can bawl on each other's cyber-shoulder! Just Rachael taking classes at the community college this year is stretching things for me, even though I know she's ready, and she even has a good friend in one of the classes!

My son is in 11th this year and my daughter is starting 9th. Technically we've already covered everything for my son -- I was going to let him graduate early. But we've decided to go the 2 years he would've had to do and just really concentrate on music as that's what he wants to major in for college. It's great to see so many high school parents on here as I'm already thinking about how quickly they'll be heading off to college. And I'm not ready!!!:(

My ds said he was not ready to take classes with college students this year. We were going to allow him some music courses but I do not want to make him do that if he feels he is not ready. I would be interested in hearing how your dd does so I can prep him for next year. Or maybe even next semester?

DD just started 9th grade last week. She is doing a few electives and soccer at the public high school. I am both sad (my baby girl is growing up) and excited (it has be fun watching her grow up).
DS is in 8th grade. He will be taking OT and gym at the local middle school. There has been some talk from him about going back to public school for high school.
Why do they have to grow up?~sigh~
