...tree would/will you plant? I'd love to find something non-deciduous (I hate to rake!), but affordable... Two decorative trees I also had in mind that may not necessarily be non-deciduous that seem to do well in this part of Texas are: Bradford Pear Tree Redbud Tree What other ideas do you have?
One of these days I'm going to plant River Birch trees. Our backyard usually floods at least once a year, so that would probably be the only tree to make it out there. I've got a golden chain tree in my front yard that I just love! The yellow flowers are so bright and pretty!
