I don't think I've ever posted asking for prayer before, but if you all could please pray for me I would appreciate it. I put in for a job with the school district as a cafeteria worker. I had an interview yesterday and will know sometime next week if I am hired. I really need this job. It's only 2.5 hours per day and will not interfere with our schooling. I felt like it was an answer to prayer when it was posted. If you would pray that I get it, I would be so thankful!
'Praying that this will be a blessing to everyone concerned and that if you get the job, you will find open doors of witnessing.
praying for you. I did this job about 2 years ago. I still work for the same district in there before and after school program. It was the job I really wanted. But I never would have got if I didn't do the cafetria work first. They gave me a good recommendation. I love my job and it works well with homeschooling. Wishing you luck!!!
I still remember our cafeteria ladies from elementry. They were the nicest ladies. The school gave free food to students who forgot their lunches. But the food they gave was a thick peanut butter sandwich and milk. The cafeteria always had a little food leftover so the ladies would take it to the kids who forgot their lunches so they didn't have to eat those thick sandwiches.LOL
Thank you all for your prayers, that you would pray for me means a lot to me. I found out today that I didn't get the job. I'm disappointed, but I know God is in control and He will take care of us and bring me the right job at the right time. I just wanted you all to know how much your prayers meant to me.
'Be not dismayed whatever betide, God will take care of you; Beneath His wings of love abide, God will take care of you.'
3Angels, Please do not be too disheartened. When God closes one door it's usually because he has a better one in store for you! Just to give you an example, my dh was wanting a promotion earlier in the year. He was so excited about it, thought it was in the bag. He got turned down for it and someone else was chose. I told him the same thing. God has something else in store for you. Just be patient. It ended up that just a month or two later there came another promotion and he ended up getting that one! This one was exactly what he is good at and likes much more than he would have that other one. There are also many more opportunities. My point is that if you hang in there and keep praying, God will give you what's better for you! I'll be praying for you!
Thank you all so much for your encouragement! It means so much to me. I know you are all so right, I just need to trust the Lord and not worry because of the situation. You all are so wonderful, thank you!
