there is going to be a TOTAL lunar eclipse Tuesday the 28th of August. I only been able to find that it is going to be viewable from "the america's" We are doing astronomy this year and I am skipping around in our book and doing the moon first b/c of this eclipse, but I need all you wonderful researchers to tell me what time it is going to be viewable! Jill, We are not studying astronomy at all, but an eclipse is cool enough, THANKS for the reminder! We live in CDT, so if it is not too hazy, we may see some of it before dawn. I DID see another detailed account on Sky & Telescope's website, (link to it on their front page), but the good news is there will be yet one more in February with better visibility for the whole continental 48.
