is so wonderful! Last night dd brought her report card to class (per teacher's request). They told the children to bring in their report cards for an academic patch. I guess she is the only one so far to do this. I'm not even sure what qualifies for the patch. They are very supportive of homeschooling by the way. Anyway, they awarded Avery in front of all the parents and kids her academic patch and made a really big deal about her making such great grades. I thought that was so good for Avery to get that recognition. The wife of the teacher even told me that if I ever wanted to teach other kids then let her know. She is interested in finding an alternative to ps herself.
Congrats. Missy way to go, doesn't it make you feel special when people ask you teach other children. Tell Avery we are proud of her too.
Wow! That is so awesome! Over the years I have not had that many but a few that asked me that. It is a Big completment on your teaching ability and quality Missy! WOW! WooHoo, way to go Missy and Avery! How neat that they do that---it's great to recognize academic achievement! I've had some people ask me too, and a couple come and observe to see how we run our classroom! That's great Missy, good job!!!
It's especially nice that they do this since we homeschool. I think we were blessed to find this instructor. He's great with the kids and right now their business is small so it's very personal attention.
