I went into Staples today where, as a homeschooling mom, they let me sign up for the Teachers Rewards! I was able to buy 25 packs of index cards (100 cards each), 25 packs of highlighters (2 per pack) and 25 packs of pencils (8 pencils per pack) for only $0.10 each!! If you aren't a teacher the limit on everything was 2 but teachers had a limit of 25 each. I also got 14 spiral notebooks (1 subject each; staples brand) for $0.15 each. There was a lady there who told me about it who was a former homeschooling teacher that now teaches at a private school so I donated some of my purchases to her. I'll also be sending half of what I have left to my sister (college student) and splitting the rest with my friend who is a HSing mom DH & I also each got a 4g flash drive for $5 each. And there was a coupon in our circular $5 off of $25 purchase.
Hmmmm...I was just in last week and was not told I could get more than the limit of 2. Oh, well. I only have two kids so I probably saved myself in the long run! :lol:

I signed up for the teacher rewards. I love it. I will have to check it out and see if I can donate to families having a hard time.
At my Staples they had packs of pencils, index cards, and 2-packs yellow highlighters for ONE PENNY each! I asked about a teacher limit and he said I could have up to 25 of each! I got ten packs of pencils - for a dime! And a bunch of index cards and highlighters. Amazing!
That is AWESOME!!! I really hope that I can get some of the deals this weekend.. Right now I'm feeling VERY jealous. LOL.. All we have here is stupid walmart..
Yes, here it's 1 cent also with a limit of 25 each with the Teacher Rewards card. Keep checking those Staples circulars, they have these sales a few times during the summer. A few weeks ago I stocked up on glue, pens, and cap erasers. And, as others have said, this week was pencils, index cards, and highlighters. It's a great way to stock up for very little money!
I feel like such an idiot. I went out after reading your post, eager to take advanrtage of these deals, and drove staight to staples, which is on the way to school, I've been driving past there for 3 years. Adn guess what, all this time, it was never a staples, it was an Office depot! I could have sworn it was Staples! Aaaagh!
My Staples here is having more sales this week. Paper clips, notebooks, rulers etc. Check out the ad again near you. I wonder how many weeks they will be doing this?
I got some one cent folders at Staples today, as well as some other fun stuff that wasnb't such good deals Office Max had some cool deals this week, too.
