So apparently these days, they do a blood test and that tests for everything an amnio would, without the risk. Well, the results all came back normal and the baby is a boy!

I am still in shock over all this. And up and down and up and down emotionally. Oh, and I am less than 12 weeks and they already know this. Makes one wonder what will be available in another 20 years. The test is called MaterniT21, but there are other versions called Harmony and Verify and Panorama.

Such good news! I didn't know I was having twins until the first one was born! Times sure have changed! ( they were born in 1977)

I am very sure I would have known about twins. I would have seen more than 10 bumps and would have known.

I am quite positive that both of mine could stick their head, butt, both hands, both elbows, both knees and both feet out at once. That 11th bump would have been the clue.

I was sure it was impossible for a single baby to make 10 bumps, but apparently not. 11 = Twins for sure.

    LOL

I am pretty sure that a times I felt fingers wrapped around ribs. They look all innocent now.
