I have to go back to the clinic tomorrow for another Cat-Scan and a procedure to have the stent removed. With all the complications after the original surgery, I am so scared and nervous. If you could please send some prayers for smooth sailing tomorrow around 11:30, I would soooo appreciate it. I just want to be done with all of this - done with the pain, the bleeding, the constant fatigue - I just want to be done!
I'm crying along with you! I'm so sorry! I am and will be praying for you! May God bless you and I hope you get through all this soon! Please keep us updated on how things are going!
I will be keeping an eye on the clock and keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you feel much better very soon!
I was so sad to just see the name of this thread. I am so sorry! I will be praying for you. I pray this is all over with every soon!
I just read this and the procedure is probably over with, but I am continuing to pray for you - that you will start feeling better soon.
Thanks for all your prayers, but I just back from another long stretch in the hospital. Within an hour of the stent being removed, I began to have horrid back pain. Hoping it would ease up on its own, I crawled back into my own bed. Four hours of screaming later, dh called for an ambulance. He insisted that I be taken down to Minneapolis and as far away from this other doctor as possible. After many does of narcotics and another c-scan, it was learned that when the vent was pulled, the opening from my kidney to the utetra completely colapsed upon itself. The first atttemp was 24 hour round of antinflamatory drugs to see if we could get it to open back up naturally. Yesterday, it came to no avail and I had surgery to put a tube directly from my back to my kidney to alleviate the pressure. The tube will remain in place from 1 to 8 weeks. I came home late to night; but really can't do much of all. My dh has now contacted a lawyer. The hospital/doctors from the original surgery are refusing to realease any of my medical records to the new crew! Time to lay back down, but just wanted to proved all with an update.
Thanks for the update, so sorry to hear that you are going thru so much with this. Will continue to pray for a speedy recovery.
hope you recovery fast. good luck with the lawyer had a friend in the homeschool group sue for the death of her child took 5 years and ended up with alot of headache and not much money...good luck.
Oh mannnn, I am soooo sorry! I wish I could be there to help you out while you're recovering! I would if I could! Anyway, I CAN pray for you, and am doing so! If there is ANYTHING we can do to help you somehow, please let us know! Prayers going up for you and sending GENTLE HUGS to you!!!
Back from another cat scan. Have an aptmt Monday afternoon to go over the results to see if there has been any improvement or if I will continue to have the back stent for a while yet. One glorious moment did happen today, though. While I was paying for a small purchase at the clinic book fair, the clerk asked - completely out of the blue- if she could pray for me. OK, so I did have a tube coming out of me, but it wasn't super obvious. I agreed, and this "prayer warrior" prayed over me for over 10 minutes! I was just moved to tears. I was so nervous about the upcoming CT and afraid I wouldn't be coming home tonight. She confessed later that she had no idea what moved her to be so bold to pray for me, but I'm so glad that she was moved to do so!
God placed that woman there for you! I'm praying that the pain is abating and that all the systems of your body will soon be functioning perfectly.
