Sorry ladies, I didn't make it to the PO yesterday.. and today isnt' promising either. We are getting company today and I'm cleaning like a mad woman. Hubby is working early again on Monday and I will go to town when he gets home.
Ok girls, I'm looking at postage... all the goodies toghether only weighs about 10oz, but till I put them in a box that is big enough to send them safely, it comes up just above a pound. To send them priority it will be a bit pricey for some but parcel post isn't much cheaper (like only a buck ) I'm not sure if we could send these as media mail without getting in trouble It's cheaper to not go flat rate for everyone. I will have definate rates in a few minutes, I told hubby to stop at the PO and grab me boxes on his way home
Ok, shipping totals are all PMed. Also.. is there anyone else who has 2 littles and would like an extra set, since we all made 7 and we ended up with only 5 participating I have 2 extra sets.. which like with my 2 could come in handy so they aren't fighting over them
If no one else needs it, my 6 year old would use them. If other's have more age appropriate kids, give it to them!
Ok... I will send out the boxes this afternoon. Going to try to figure out the paypal bulk postage thing right now!
Ok.. Packages are on their way to the PO, hubby is dropping them off on his way to get burgers and dogs for the grill.. it's GORGOUS OUT THERE!!! I PMed you all your tracking numbers (hoping I kept them all straight..lol) Chris and Rebekah, I sent you both the doubles. I think these guys will do better if I put them doing different things... or they will probably be used when I work with them individually. Lately they fight over silly things if they are doing the same thing :roll:

got our package today!!! WOW!!! These are AWESOME! My 6 year old is squeeling over all the stuff right now. Even my 9 year old is excited. These are so wonderful. You guys are SO creative! My "file folder game" is lame compared to all the other activities. A puzzle with popcycle sticks?? GENIOUS! Hope we have another one of these swaps again soon. It was SO much fun. Angela
Ours just came. I wanted to rip into it, but I was in the midst of laundry, so I told myself that I would reward myself with opening it after I was done folding, lol... WOW!!!!! I love love love all of your ideas! I loved every.single.one... and they're great because there are activities that fit lots of age groups. Love that Every time I took out an activitiy, I said, "OH CUTE!" "What a great idea!" And Angela, I'm assuming your file folder game was the sight words?? I'm guessing because the other file folder game was from me... SO not lame Very cute, and perfect for learning sight words. WOOHOO! My kids are going to have a blast with these, and I hope we do another one again soon as well. Sommer, thank you again for hosting, you did an awesome job!
Thanks.. we had fun making those puzzles. We were all covered in modge podge stuff (which is fun to peal off after it dries on your hands..lol). Then once they were dry Rylee opened each bag and put in a copy of the picture, Reagan put in the sticks and sealed it... They had so much fun just doing that.. we should do more of them I guess I'm glad they are all arriving safe and sound! I feel like I'm waiting on a baby to be born when I send something out in the mail.. you never know what could possibly go wrong.. but you know the "mama" will be super happy with it when it arrives
Oh.. and Angela.. I LOVE your file folder game.. all that art work must have taken hours!! Thanks to everyone for all the hard work they put into the "games". We are gonna have some well educated kids!
I think every idea was adorable- and they do fit a wide variety of ages and skills! We definitely need to do this again!
I enjoyed making the File folder game. I don't think it's actually sight words. More like CVC but when i printed it out that's the title so I kept it. My 6 year old loves her file folder games so i thought that you all would like them too. And it really didn't take that long to do the "art work". I'm not that artistic when it comes to drawing or painting so I'm glad it was only leaves LOL.. cutting everything out took the longest. Angela
I have a HUGE book from Carson Delosa of filefolder games to COLOR (the reason they are still in the book :lol cut and glue together... I love them all, but I just can't find the time to color 200 file folder games in..it's easier to print full color ones off the net My kids LOVE folder games though
