Hey all! Since I have a few minutes I thought I'd stop in and say hi! Things have been a bit crazy and I haven't been around on any of the boards a whole lot. Tanner started going to K Kamp these last two weeks. It's two weeks, a couple hours a day, devoted to getting to know what K will be like when they start. Tanner loves it. Aiden is still a big boy. He is finally starting to get on a good schedule of sorts. He has his 4 month check up next week. I put him on our scale at home and he weighs almost 16 pounds. We went out of town this last weekend up north to visit the in-laws. Troy usually participates in the demolition derby up there, but took this year off because of his dad's surgery and having Aiden. We still went to watch it and took Tanner to the fair up there. I have a job interview on Friday at an Ashley Furniture store for a customer service associate. I am unsure if they can accomodate my hours, but I am going to see what they say. Wish me luck and send some prayers! Hope everyone is doing well!!!
Ashley furniture is so beautiful! A furniture store seems like a nice place to work, and you'd be a good cusstomer service associate, I'm sure. Just for fun, what type of hours are you asking for? Certainly omething around Aiden's schedule...
Glad to hear things are going well for you guys. I hope your interview goes well. You will find what works for you!
Ashley Furniture, we bought our last living room furniture there. Great company to work for. Praying for you JenPooh on Friday.
Jen, glad to see you. I am sure Tanner will love Kindergarden. Aiden is getting to be a big boy. (well he got a good head start). I hope you get that job. I thought about you when I was on that freebie site, they have an enfimil one where people said they were getting some coupons for as much as $7 off!!
Thanks for thinking of us Amy! I have since switched to Parent's Choice, and Aiden is doing well with it. It's only $13 a large can, versus $24 for a large can of Enfamil or Similac. I talked to the doctor and he said there is no difference between the generic and the name brand, so I switched. Between that and making our own food, we have saved loads of money.
Welcome back Jen! Hope you can stop in and see us more often! Sounds like Tanner's ready for K, eh? Aiden sounds so cute, glad he's growing well and getting on more of a schedule! I will pray for a good job for you! If this one, then good, if God has something else in mind for you, then I will pray your find that soon!
Nice to see you again JenPooh I was wondering where you are at.. Hay my older brother use to work at Ashley are you apply for the one in Madison... Aiden, is just getting ready for the Green Bay Packer quarter back the old one is getting Old Bret can only play so long. Glad Tanner loves his school...
We have missed you but can understand that you are busy. I hope all goes well with your job interview. Patty
Welcome back and good luck with your interview. You'd be surprised what places will accomodate....I work one day every 6-8 weeks. I hope you get the job!!
I hope so. I've been told they are a good company to work for. I just don't know if they have evening hours or not, that is what scares me, but I'm trying to remain positive about it.
VERY good, I think! I have to go back for a second interview this next week. She is suppose to call me today to figure out a time to meet with the store manager. She even said we could work out a schedule that will work with family needs and stuff, something like Sunday-Thursday or something, and they don't open til 11 on Sunday's so it still leaves plenty of time for church. Please keep praying!!! I even got to talking to the supervisor about churches...I told her about my commitements at church and she asked where I went and so forth. There is also a gal there who has a degree in missionary works. I felt very good about it, so we will see if God continues to leave the door open for me.
