We got this for our 3 year old at like Christmas time a few months ago (before he was 3) and are just now breaking it out. He's doing the pre-writing practice section right now. You know "trace the line from left to right" has slanted lines, circles, etc. He's loving it and has done like 10 worksheets front to back today lol. He's sitting in his lil chair and desk and doing it with his bright orange colored penicil. He just wants one page after another today. He stops every 10 minutes and goes to watch tv or to draw a little picture on the page but keeps coming back for more lol

Has anyone else ever used something like that or have an opinion about it?

My dgd loves that too and asks for "worksheets, please" when dd asks her what she'd like to do. I don't think it's a problem of any kind, if the child wants to do it, and does it whichever way they think is the "right" way. As long as we big people aren't sitting over them insisting that there is only one right way, let them have fun with it, right?

Lol, definately. It would say "trace the circle from left to right" which he would do and then in the center he'd draw a little picture lol

We're unschoolers, but we use the heck out of some worksheets here at our house, cause both my kids like them. Like Lindina said-as long as we aren't stressing them out and they enjoy it....
