Do any of you nice people know where to get some bird worksheets? I am looking for some where the kids color in the feathers with the appropriate colors and can name the bird. They are just black and white. I feel that I have searched the word bird over and over and haven't found what I am looking for yet. Thanks.
Did you try http://www.geocities.com/felicitax/Birds.htm ? They also have several links on the bottom of their page. http://birding.about.com/library/weekly/aa062701a.htm has some diagrams Dover has some nice coloring books but, not sure if they will have what you are looking for http://store.doverpublications.com/by-subject-coloring-books-animal-life-birds.html HTH
www.enchantedlearning.com has bird printouts. And, as Sheila said, Dover has really good coloring books. Very detailed.
http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/birds/printouts/ http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/birds/label/birds/index.shtml Thanks. I found these links after playing with your ideas. I do love the dover coloring books. I just ordered me a catalog. I saw a few others that I liked. the geocities site has lots of information that can look up. I plan on doing a couple weeks of bird related stuff. They love birds.
Try this site... http://www.kidzone.ws/geography/index.htm it is about Canada but each province gives you the provincial bird and facts about them...
