Oh Dawninns.....oh dawninns....lol...since you do not believe the Word as perfect and interpret words from scripture in a "modern" way...I guess I can see your point. However, I must...yep...I must disagree. LOL. Bet you didn't see that coming. LOL. The death mentioned in the bible is a spiritual death. So, yes, sin brings about death...why? Because the bible says so! LOL.

This is a sad topic. I hate the thought of those poor little girls on BC pills as if that is the help they need.

This is really disturbing to me. There are so many risks involved --- both immediate & things that will pop up later on in life --- associated with birth control... I just don't understand how that decision can be left up to a child. Half the time, adults can't grasp the risks of birth control!

If they're taking it without their parents' knowledge, too, and start having adverse effects.... what are they going to do? Stop taking it, not talk to anyone for an alternative, and end up pregnant? Or, maybe worse, KEEP taking it and end up REALLY sick??? Even if she DOES go back to the nurse or whoever and says "These are making me sick".... there's no guarantee that nurse (or whoever) is going to link it to the birth control.

I, for one, can NOT take ANY form of hormonal birth control. I tried several different kinds that all screwed up my cycles royally. Then, I tried one that seemed to work well for me... boy was I wrong.

I got sick about a month after I started them... started off with a canker sore on the inside of my bottom lip -- but I didn't make the connection because, for one, that's not a side effect listed for that pill.. and for 2, my (then infant) son and cut my lip in just that spot with his fingernail just days earlier.

But it didn't stop there... when that one went away, another one popped up, then another, then another. They were HUGE...size of dimes sometimes, and ONGOING for weeks.

To make a long story short... my symptoms were canker sores, body rashes, fever, headaches, body aches, fatigue, dizziness, faintness, stomach ache, diahhrea, nausea, blurred vision... it was almost like having a horrid case of the flu - the congestion + canker sores & rashes.

I spent nearly a solid YEAR going from dr to dr & eventually from specialist to specialist. I was tested for every STD under the sun, RI, Fibromyalgia, Lupus -- you name it --- urine tests, blood tests, xrays, MRIs

Finally, this infectious disease specialist ruled out everything he could think of. He looked up the info on my BC pill -- my symptoms did NOT match the side-effects listed... but he didn't know what else to try.. so he told me to go off the pill.

Within 3 wks, I was completely back to normal.

Now, imagine an 11 yr old going through that.

They made me extra-extra sensitive to the sun which caused blisters on my nose. Haven't had issues after I stopped taking them.

Wow. Just wow. You have to wonder how these brainless people haven't died because they forgot to breath.
