Monday morning at 5am Spencer woke up with an asthma attack, we were in Elk City, OK and the ER was 5 minutes away, had we been home it would have taken 25 to get there.......at 95mph! Anyway, another blessing was that all of the lights were green, we went from the South end of town, to the North........Godly intervention, Spencer was breathing better within 20 minutes of waking up.
I'm glad he is doing better. I have asthma and understand how it feels and how scary it is. I will be praying for him
I am so happy to hear that his breathing returned to normal so quickly. This is a blessing! Many of Emma's asthma attacks happen when she first wakes up. It can be scary!!! Patty
That is so scary, I am so glad he is ok now. We have asthma here too. I understand what you are talking about.
Glad he is ok! Very scary. Isn't God just amazing when He shows us how much he loves us individually! I am always so amazed He thinks of little ole me.
I am so glad this all turned out okay. When we got Crystal we were told she had asthma but in all the years since, 10 years this month!, she has only had one episode and we pretty much don't even think about it anymore. My oldest had allergy induced asthma when he was smaller but outgrew it. So scary. Praying you don't have to go through this ever again. Beth
One thing that that I find upsetting occurs upon arrival at the ER, after I've been going and driving 90 mph to get him there and then they...........poke around, not in one bit of a hurry, meanwhile my adrenaline is still pumping at 90 mph!! But, I am still thankful for them, pokey or not!!!
