    Don't they always have an educators discount or is this one more than that? I know Barnes and Nobles has an educators discount because I have a card for there.

    Usually when the bookstores run the "educators week" it is a higher percentage off each item than the normal discount rate.

    Did anyone make it to the special reception last night? We didn't go, but I was hoping someone else may have been able to go and enjoy the "food, fun, prizes"! Wish I would have remembered to go, but ten or so 30gal/50lb bags full of leaves to be raked, bagged, and hauled had dibs on my Friday night.

    I can't wait to go tomorrow! I'm going to get a children's encyclopedia for my dd and check out the clearance stuff LOL

    How does one get an educators card at Borders?? And is the discount on everything or just stuff pertaining to education??

    I think you just have to ask for the card, fill out a form.

    I was told discounts apply to educational materials EXCEPT for Reference materials. How bogus is that? But, it's still a great discount.
