I just received the results of the Stanford Testing my children took...... I must say first, at the end of each year I look back at what we have done and I think.... Wow, I could have done this better or that better etc. etc. Well my children did fantastic. They are in 5th and 6th grade. In math they scored Post High School. In Writing they received 100%. In everything else above average except for spelling. All this to say, we are doing a great job (moms). Even when you feel down and wonder why you are doing this, in the end the children are thriving.... Heck I even taught a math concept backwards. But they over came it!
Way to go!!!! Yay, Mom!! Yay, Kids! I have to ask: What did Dad say?? Does he still have doubts about your ability to teach the kids adequately??
I have to say ps had my son labeled Learning Disabled...... which in NYS is 2 year behind! My husband was just quite and humbled. He said he was proud of us all.
What a story. I think I will file that under reason 4,962 I'm glad my kids aren't in public school. Congratulations!!!
