    Hey Gang..

Can ya'll believe we held it together this long?

WOW..I have been here 2 years and I know about that long or longer at abcteach....

Does that mean we have known each other for the better part of 4 or 5 years?

Will we still be here when we graduate these kiddos?

    Happy Anniversay to all!

    TINA'S BACK!!!
Well, welcome back, girl! How'd the move go? Did you get settled in? Are the boys driving you crazy? I've got a new book for you to read to them. It's called "By the Great Horned Spoon!", and I told about it in a read-aloud thread I started.

Welcome Back Girl. Yes, it's hard to believe we been here that long.
Hope the move went good and all is going well and you all get your web page up and running soon.

You know, Jeannie was maybe 1 when we got our computer, 2 at the oldest. I found abcteach then, and here Jeanne will be 6 in September. Yep- it's been quite a few years.

    Whoo hoo....I'm a sentimental oh smooze!

So good to hear from all of you!

Yes, yes the boys are driving me crazy!

The move, well that was a nightmare this time...Its hard to find good reliable help.. We hired a professional moving service but the guys looked like they had just been released from prison. They weren't the same ones as last time.

DH told me just let them move the big stuff and we'll get the rest as we didn't want to be around them.

So we did..Boy, does my %$#* hurt! ROFL...

*By the Great Horned Spoon*, I gotta remember that one! Right now, I have my oldest reading the first in the series of Lemony Snicket to the other two!

I wasn't sure about those books, but another girlfriend of mine who wasn't either started and said so far so good.

Anybody else have any feedback on them?

Becky, I do remember now that you talked about Jeannie's age. I remember a few posts at abcteach where you said *when I start, because she is only *...

Kris, you'll have to do some testing for us on the website..I'm not TECHNICAL TINA so I can screw up anything and will be doing that on our website. ROFL Sheila will be standing by!

I'm still not up to complete running order--I am drawing bookshelves and how I want my school room laid out. I will have them built to specific specifications. So we are doing a half lesson here and there as I unpack and catch up on much needed rest.

I took before pictures of the chaos in my schoolroom. As soon as the bookshelves are built and things organized, I want to try to remember to post a picture of my school room.

The books seem to make the normal bookshelves sag, not to mention they are soooo pricey for the little space you get.

Soooooo, in my big hunt and my second choice if I couldn't have them built--I found that black steel bookshelves made for the garage were cheap, extremely durable and you could even have wheels. They really looked nice. I couldn't believe it.

The paneled sides had like peg board holes so you could attach hooks for hanging things off of.

So I stopped looking in the bookshelf section of websites and looked at the garage section. ROFL...

Too, I changed to something different for our school room.

I bought a wooden island that has two drop leaves. Because of my room and because I still have the youngest one doing prek/k, we still need to be alltogether.

All the tables are normal size and not a very big table top workspace. We need more table top workspace with as many books and papers that we have on the table at one time.

This huge square oversized wooden island was perfect. I bought these beatiful black with wood swivel bar stools and it looks and feels wonderful.

Not to mention, its not wasted space because the wooden island has cabinets underneath and 2 drawers on each side.

All right, I need to make this an early night as we have our 17 year anniversary tomorrow. DH and I are sooo tired from the move, but are taking the day to spend walking on the beach and eating seafood.

    Hugs to everyone!

WOW! It's been 2 years already! Somehow it doesn't seem like it's been that long. To think I was just yanking Andrew out of school for the first time two years ago - time flies!

    Welcome back Tina
hope your new home is what you wanted it to be and that the dust is settling for you.
