I saw P's post about not being on here much and it reminded me I should do the same.

Grad school is now back in full swing for me (even though I STILL have yet to receive one of my textbooks ARGH!!) and while I plan to visit, it just may not be as consistently. Maybe just until I get my groove w/ the semester workload or it might be the whole semester.

So please don't forget about me or think I've done the same!:D

Grad school is a real challenge! My DH got his Master's, and boy! am I glad it's over!!! Good luck! Every now and then when you have a few minutes or between terms, let us know how it's going! Just because it isn't directly Homeschool related doesn't mean you can't talk to us about it! Hope you enjoy what you'll be learning!

My dh tried grad school twice. Once there was a mix-up with the loan info, and he had to drop out. The second time we had 3 kids, and he was working 80 hours a week, plus being on call 24/7 except weekends. He quit after 2 classes, because it was so hard to keep up.

I can't imagine going back to school now. I loved college, but don't have a desire for grad school. I have thought of going back for a nursing degree, so that I could have a flexible job to help with finances. With the hours my dh works, there is simply no way I could guarantee that I could make it to classes.

I wouldn't be able to "go" to on-campus classes either. Thank goodness for distance education! I "attend" the University of Texas (Hook'em Horns!) via their telecampus. Here's the link:

    http://www.telecampus.utsystem.edu/

Here are some of the graduate programs offered completely online:
    Degree Programs:
Master of Arts in Teaching - Science Education
    Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)
Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing - Bilingual
    Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.)
    Master's Degree in Kinesiology
    M.Ed. in Educational Technology
    M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction
    M.S. in Human Resource Development

Carl has looked into a Doctorate on-line, and it would be too difficult, plus EXPENSIVE!
