Seektruth, I am also a JW, and have been looking for friends, I just joined this forum, so I am glad to hear you are not leaving.
Our difference are what makes us who we are. If we were all the same we wouldn't be able to grow and learn from each other. One of the wonderful things about this forum is that we are able to disagree and then go on. Kudos to you for sticking up for your religion, I tend to avoid those conversations like the plague.
SeekTruth, I am just now seeing this thread. I must say that I had been wondering how you were doing about our conversation. I'm one who enjoys "delving" into topics. And I, too, try to keep comments focused on issues--not people. It sounds like you're going to be OK with us, though, and that you'll stick around. I'm glad!
