Ladies, I'm so excited, I could cry! We have been learning about the wild birds native to our area by researching them, feeding them daily in our front yard, and listening to their songs online AND hourly because we have one of those bird clocks with a different bird song/call on the hour. We have a regular pair of Cardinals that visit throughout the day. They are kind of skittish but I've managed some very good pictures of them. Whenever they come to feed, they both make that high "PIP" chirping sound, but NEVER the traditional Cardinal "song". I was enjoying the quiet of the morning, reading through this forum, and JUST NOW, after MONTHS of waiting, I finally heard THE Cardinal song just outside our door!!! What a beautiful way to start the day!
