Well it seems our plans have changed and we aren't going to be homeschooling at all this next year. UGH!!!! But my oldest absolutely refuses to cooperate with homeschooling whatsoever. Which is so frustrating to me. The younger 2 want to go to school so badly so daddy said let them. So now I am dealing with the school district trying to get my younger 2 enrolled for Kindergarten. Fun FUn Fun not. The school district still has no idea what class or school any of the kindergartner's are going to be going to. The middle school still has no clue what any of the kids' schedules are going to be and school starts on the 4th of september around here. YIKES!!! Well now since all 3 of my kiddos are going to school full time/all day I get the pleasure of looking for a job. Besides still going to school full time myself.

Sorry this is so long. Just me venting. especially since I already got the kiddo's books and such for homeschooling next year. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I am sorry this happened. Will you be able to sell the books you already have?

So sorry to hear that! I'm sure it's so frustrating! Can you find something to do from home for work? That might save you time/energy since you're already doing college.
(and no, I have no idea what, lol...I'm still looking for that myself!) :)
If they get in school and don't like it, will you and dh let them come home mid-year?

I am going to have to go through the books i already have and end up selling some of them. That's another day though.

I already know my oldest hates public school but he also doesn't want to put any effort into homeschooling either. It is so frustrating. My younger 2 actually like anything to do with schoolwork so it should be fine for them.

I know things will work out somehow.

The local private school is a bit expensive. We could manage to afford it but they aren't capable of handling kids with special needs or that are behind age level. My daughter will do awesome in school but I worry about the school wanting to just put her in special ed and not do their job because she has a speech delay. It's going to be a bit of a battle but I will stand my ground. I am not saying the special ed here is bad its just that they don't push the kids at all to work at potential. This is main reason my oldest who is 12 is just now learning and understanding times tables. He was in special ed and kept getting behind until i took him out and homeschooled him. He loved special ed but wasn't learning anything at all.

Wow, that would be really a tough call, maybe they will focus more on his learning potential this time around?
