So I have been getting my books. http://www.homeschoolspot.com/showthread.php?t=17567 I talked about it on the above thread. Here are my thoughts on the books I have so far. The http://www.titus2.com/ecommerce/products/prod_listing.php/1170 books are so great. My kids are having so much fun each day as I read a chapter. [4 books get 4 starts] They are so in-line with our thinking. Christian by not name only. A family who lives and breathes it. I love them. The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is that I have a hard time thinking any family can be that perfect. But they are great models. http://www.amazon.com/Kandoo-Kangaroo-Hops-into-Homeschool/dp/0890512906 is another good one. This is a cute one that they can read to themselves, but I enjoy the quick and cute reading as well. [1 book gets 4 stars] This one I HATE http://homeschooladventurebooks.com/ if you are an unschooler who believes in evolution and wizards then it is the book for you. I am very angry I wasted my money on it. [1 book gets 1 star for effort] I also just adore these 2 books. They are great and also go along with our thinking in our home. Awesome for sure. http://www.homescoolkids.com/ I sure hope they come up with some more. [2 books gets 5 stars] My favorites. FWIW: My thinking is young earth creation and a family that tries to live above reproach. Full of love for others but will not tolerate evil. Homeschool using many different avenues but mostly Christian text book. Life is learning. Helping others in need. Little to no TV but movies are fine. We are far from perfect but keep striving towards the goal. There that should help you understand my thinking thus understanding my ratings. Although I think I confused myself. lol
It's great to know that there are books out there for those of us who have different beliefs. It gets very suffocating in the world of homeschooling when almost everything you find is from one viewpoint, esp. when it's a viewpoint you don't necessarily believe in.
There's also a series out called "The Homeschool Detectives" Rachael read. You might want to review them, too! They're (obviously!) kid mysteries.
thank you so much!! i have been eyeing those book from titus 2 for a bit, but wasnt sure how they would turn out. now i can order them for christmas!! i like the ones at homes cool also, i especially like baby kong, since we have one of those right now, i may order that one for christmas as well, lol. there is one more series i know of, but i will have to go look it up. it is about a christian homeschooling family, they live on a farm, and they have mysteries to solve and adventures to go on. it looks really good as well! i will go see what it is called

No, but I will check them out. My mom always buys the kids a stack of books for Christmas, usually a "set" of some kind. And usually she has me pick them out. That sounds like a possibility for Faythe this year!
