A friend of mine told me about this site today and I thought I'd come share with you all. It is a mail order DVD rental and purchase site, similar to how the netflix mail program works. This is very difficult. What constitutes a Christian movie or documentary? When is violence a powerful statement versus simply gratuitous? With all their statements about billions of years and evolution, must nature documentaries achieve AiG certification? As a businessman, I wouldn't want to enter such a minefield. Of course, the proof of a business is in its profitability, so maybe I'll be proved wrong. In the end, though, I suggest that, as parents, we're quite capable of deciding which movies to watch and which to avoid. More appropriate might be an alternative rating scheme of some sort - or simply a movie review site for Christians.
