Maybe this should be somewhere else - I don't know, but because of it's Christian nature, I thought maybe best to put it here because of the content and so not to offend anyone. ANYWAY, does your Church have a Christian Education Committee? What kinds of things do they do? Our Church had one in the past and it eventually phased out when the Chruch was between youth ministers. I went to a meeting tonight to see about getting this up and going again. If nothing else it sounds like a challenging committee to be on (I am an assistant to the secretary - doing the computer things that the secretary can't do), but at the same time it looks like it will be another amazing way to Serve God. Just wondering what kinds of things other Churches do... Brenda
Christian Ed. We use The Word of Life material. It covers all ages from preschool to high school. We use it for our Sunday school classes, our Olympians Club (midweek bible K-6), teen club (7-12 grade) and our Vacation Bible School in the summer. We have a local WOL representative that comes around routinely to see how things are going, to worship with us, and to do "extra" things. We are most pleased with the material and service we get from them. The quality of books and content are excellent. I'm sure you could probably get a sample of their work. Hope it helps. June
