I'm looking for a clam chowder recipe. Here's the catch. I need the recipe to have no bacon (we're vegetarian) and no celery (son allergic). I know I can probably leave out both of the ingredients, but I'm afraid then it will be too bland, so I'm hoping someone has a tried and true recipe that they can say for sure tastes okay without these ingredients.
