http://clickschooling.com/ check it out here, I got an email from a homeschool friend local, she said to check it out. I am checking it out via all of you! HA1 Thanks!
well from looking at the page I am confused, doesn't mean much but what do you sign up for? Weekly lessons or suggestions to where to find them or what?
I have been receiving emails for over a year now. The email will contain a link to a web based site that aids you with your homeschooling. The emails come 6 days a week and there is a different topic per day. Mondays are math, etc. I have found some wonderful sites that I coordinate into my lesson plans. Look into the archives on the math, last weeks site 3/7/11. It is funded by banks and is a game that even I like to play. It teaches fundamental basics of applied math for everyday use. The full explanation is there. I think the person on this forum that gave me the site is the founder, but not 100% sure.
Pretty much everything you get in the emails are things that are listed somewhere on the site anyway. (I think the daily emails are just to remind people to keep coming back to the site. ) I like the emails because she usually sends links that are relevant to current events ... for example, how a tsunami is formed, etc.
I love it!! I have found many useful sites through the e-mails and lots of fun games to play too. Very useful IMO.
I just signed up yesterday due to this post, and I have already found quite a few good things. Thanks to the OP for posting about it!
