First of all, thanks for your posts of encouragement when I was waivering and feeling cold feet about hs. I'll probably go through another bout, but for now I'm back on track.
To set my mind straight, I visited the school which we will be using. It's a Distance Education public school. So, that means you are handed the curriculum for free, they even give you some money towards an activity like a sport or fine arts. The work is done in modules and assignments are to be completed by the students and handed in and marked by the teacher. The teacher who we will be working with first teaches from K-3 and then there is another teacher that does from 4-6 and so on.
The teacher is available anytime to go and see face to face if there are issues or if our dd is struggling with any work. They also meet once a week in a virtual classroom so that they can converse with the other students in their "class." My dds can also work ahead. If they finished kindergarten early, they can start grade 1 and so on, or they can take a break if they do work ahead a little.
The girls can do all their schooling through this school and in the end they will achieve the same certificate that every other child in BC gets at the end of year 12. They also take the same Provincial exams as all other students in BC.
For me, a very linear organized person, I think this is the perfect set up. I know that a lot of you enjoy doing your own thing, but that sounds like too much work for me. I was given the first module to look over and show my husband and they even tell you what to ask the child when going through the work, it's very step by step. That doesn't mean that we cannot incorporate extra activities if they are really interested in something, hence the beauty of hs.
So, I'm excited and ready to register in June. For now, I can relax and forget about the decision and enjoy my kids.
    Katrina.

So glad you are feeling better about it all. I still go through a "Bout of Doubt" every so often. Then I just ask my husband to give my forehead a good thump. Kinda like the V8 commercials.

I know a lot of people who would appreciate having a system set up like that for them. There are times when our budget is so desparate that I would consider it if that was my only means of being able to homeschool. Again, so glad you are anxious to dig in and do it once again!
