Columbus Day

    Well, when you study the holiday do it like a holiday study, and when you study history as a whole and approach the person look at both sides of what the books say. There is good and bad in everyone, but what they did for the greater good is important too.
    I taught my kids about each holiday as it arrived on the calendar, we decided as a school if we wanted to take time off or not for it. That way they knew why or why not.
    That goes for everything people had on the calendar too and that was a lot to study about but hey... we are the internet!
