.. but tell me this doesn't just SUCK!!

The other day, I bit myself (Yeah, don't ya feel like a flippin genius when ya do that??), so when we were at the store I went to pick up some mouth pain medication.

They had all the normal stuff -- Anbesol, Orajel -- but only in the liquid form. We were about to eat, so I opted for another brand that forms a sort of protective coating.

I apply some & go eat --- which, of course, just washes away all the meds.... so no problems.

But then last night I thought I'd apply some at bedtime -- maybe help it heal up quicker.

Yeah... BRILLIANT plan there!! Apparently I'm ALLERGIC to the crap because I woke up this morning with half my face swelled up like I just went 3 rounds in the UFC.

Yikes. My son used the little pellet cover type for a canker sore and hated it too (wasn't allergic though).

    Pop some Benadryl!!!

I routinely bite my lip when I chew gum, or the inside of my cheek. You're more sensible than me, cause I never go get anything for it..

    holy cow! Benadryl.
Now, toss out the medicine, so you aren't tempted to 'try it again'
(can you be off topic if you start your own thread?)
