My dvd drive will not run on my computer. It will make a sound like it is going to start and then won't. I even tried starting it by going into my computer, then D file. Still no luck. Well now our second computer is doing this. I don't know if it a virus, microsoft, or rosetta stone (which was the only thing loaded in common to both computers). Any ideas??
This is going to sound stupid, but you don't have something waiting to be written on a blank disk sitting in the drives file on the computer do you? I just hooked up the old computer the kids play on for the first time in forever.. I couldnt' get it to play the little ones Jumpstart disks.. here there was about 30 things sitting in a file waiting to be written on the disk. I don't know how the kids got them there, but they did and I had to clear them out before it would read the disks so that the kids could play their games.
