Ya really! that is awesome though, you put in all that hard work, and at least someone can see it!
We always talk about having a homeschool open house for our projects and stuff, to show our friends what we are doing and all.. the kids want me to write them a play ( skit) to do and all that stuff... maybe this year before school breaks for summer vacation?

I thought a blog was a writting tool to write away like a journal of sorts? I think if it has pictures or something then its just a web site WITH a blog... but what do I know?

Of course then I would also have to know how to take time to photograph everything load up my computer with more pics .. the rest of the family puts enough junk in the thing haha, and the people wont be able to talk to my kids personally. they like that part having people over the fellowship ya know?

My family lives 900 miles (or more) away. So my blog is my open house. I just forget to keep it updated. My family comments on the projects, so that's about as close as we'll get given our current situation.

That is cool what exactly do you put on it? My family is not ever going to be here at my house, My inlaws came! That was cool they got to see what we work on and stuff.. a bit at least.
and low and behold we had guests stay the weekend the same time so that was close but we had no time to put something togethe when this all came about haha.
I have very dramatic kids, so I guess we could film them and send that to grands eh? Aunts and Uncle even.

Follow the link in my signature and you'll see..lol.

Seriously though, I don't keep it updated like I should. Mostly because I forget to take pictures of things until it's too late. But my first 3 or 4 posts are exactly the reason I started it.

I have a list of subscribers to my blog and each time I add a new entry, I can choose to send an email notification to those subscribers. That way they know I've added something worth seeing.

Which reminds me... Time to go add a post about Flat Cowboy playing in the snow.

Okay, it still looks like a web site only focused on your what you do stuff.. that is cool though.. and I suppose it is easy to update and all that? My ds has his own web page with links and stuff that he built, it connects to mine as does my hubbys garden.. its our family garden but he does such awesome shots!

Yeah, I mean that's really all that it is. Like I said, it's more a virtual open house for my family.

I do have another blog that I write and ramble on. A lot of venting, musings, and such. But the homeschool one is designed to be just that, a written/pictoral account of our homeschool journey.

I do link to a lot of things. For instance, when I reference the Spot, I link to it. But really, it's just a blog. Not a website.
