Okay, I just have to get this out so forgive me for using you all to do that. lol. My day has been up and down from the get go. First, my mother in law calls and tells us that a check we wrote her for using her credit card bounced. It was a sizable amount for an unavoidable expense. Well, she tried to cash the check the day before my husband's paycheck was deposited so there you go. She was gracious but not happy, of course. I told her to redeposit the check and it should be fine. She went to the bank and her account was fine and the check she wrote to the credit card was fine. That was without redepositing the check. Somehow (God..lol) the check went through to the credit card company for the right amount. She said we were cool for the expense and my checking account has more $ than expected...lol...since the check did not come out of my account. Too bad it has to be used for bills. Next, my car is not doing well...it is running but needs some work done. My daughter had a volleyball game today that was over an hour away. The coach's vehicle was previously full but then he called and said he could take her since the other girl did have a ride. Relief. On the way to drop my daughter off at the meeting point, I had to make a right turn in a 2 lane road. The car beside me crossed lanes during the turn and barely missed me to make into the gas station on my right. Near miss! I mean near! I have a new writing job that I was grateful for but took it slow to be sure I would actually get paid. The guy wanted to pay me through Paypal which is fine...but for some reason I just wanted to be certain it was on the up and up before putting too much work into it. It was a new site so you never know...ya know? Well, I billed him and he didn't pay. Turns out I typed in the wrong email address and once that was corrected he paid me in a flash. So...I got paid and now I know I will get paid. The job pays kinda nice...not major but better than my other one. On the way to pick my daughter up from the meeting point...I had to answer my cell as she called me while I was driving to let me know she was ready. Well, my phone was buried in my purse so I was reaching for it and finally got to it....and bam a policeman stops me. He said I was coming out of my lane and wanted to know if I had anything to drink! To drink! LOL...I had my two little girl in the backseat...how terrible that would have been. He also asked if my cell phone was a distraction. Isn't it illegal to talk and drive?? I don't know. Well, he just warned me and let me go. PRAISE GOD. Also...he was right...I should not have been digging for my cell and answering it while driving. Stupid touchscreen...for some reason answering it is a pain so that caused me a problem...lol. Okay...that was my day. Now I have to go pick my husband up from work...praying God will continue to grant me mercy. Oh and my husband is driving home! LOL!
