Well my husband went to pick up a dwarf hamster and cage for the kiddos. I than ordered 2 hermit crabs and their kit just a bit ago and also have a butterfly habitat coming as well. They were wanting a puppy so i thought this would be a good trade in return..LOLOL (that and i don't want another dog in the house)..HAHA!!!
Sounds fun. We have two cats, and they really wanted a dog but the cat's wont tolerate another animal running around.....so I compromised and got them 7 rats instead! Oh, and our rats are a huge science project. They teach them tricks, play with them, feed them, figure out ways to make the cage more fun...all of that.
Wow sounds like our zoo Good luck with the dwarf hamster. I say that because mine as a teen was vicious. I think they shrunk its brain too much when they dwarfed them lol. Cute though.
Our little dwarf hamster is so gentle. We made sure to check how happy he was being held before we settled on one. I always get males, too, since overall they tend to be more social. Have fun!!!
We have a zoo here too. We are six cats and we're catsitting for the two Grandkitties this weekend. We also have fish and two hermit crabs plus I'll be ordering for our butterfly habitat soon. At least the ants in our ant farm are all dead now. Oh, and my older son has two dwarf hamsters that come to visit sometimes.
