This may be posted somewhere and I missed it but I got an email from Crystal. They were to induce her yesterday. Please pray for her. Lorna
Oh, Lorna, I don't think that was posted!!! Thanks for updating us!!! Do you know why they were doing it yesterday? I thought she said the "due date" was Sept. 5th. Well, babies come when they come!!! I was thinking about her when I woke up this morning.
She did tell me. I will go back into my past emails and check. There was a problem but seemed to be ok. I can't remember for my life now. Maybe she will post soon or Rod anyway.
Ok, sorry but I have already deleted the email. The baby is far enough a long that she said things would be fine with it and just to pray for her easy delivery. Sorry I can't tell you more. It was very short and in a hurry as she stated. Lorna
Actually, Crystal got bumped back because there was someone with a more pressing need. Anyway, she is scheduled to be induced tonight at 7 pm (eastern time, for those of you in other time zones). Please keep her in your prayers. She has developed a few (at least 2) blood clots on her one leg (this is something she's experienced with her previous pregnancies as well). Anyway, that is the reason why they are going to start her labor and get the baby out~ she is far enough along (39 weeks yesterday) that all should be fine~ and once the baby is delivered the blood clots should "heal themselves" (or go away). I am to be getting the call~so I will let you know when I find out more details about the birth!
Will be praying about the blood clots. We had a gal that taught AWANAS who developed them unexpectedly and almost died. That was many years ago...she and the "baby" are just fine and feisty now! It's different when you know the blood clots are there, so they can keep an eye on them. Let them know we're praying for the newest addition to the family!!!
Whoa! That was weird. I was thinking about her just today and the baby coming along sooner than later. Will be praying for a safe delivery and for her as well.
Heidi Please let her know we all are thinking of her and have her in our prayers. Lorna says it's a girl wow !!! Let us know all want to spoil that little one.
Guess you'll all have to wait and be surprised! Even Crystal doesn't know the sex of the baby yet!!! I'll let you all know as soon as I get word (I asked her weeks ago if I could share the wonderful news!) Speaking of wonderful news........ we should have some of our own to share, come next April!
Well, I don't mean to take away from this post about Crystal, but we got BIG SURPRISE in our family! Seems we will be having a baby of our own! Never thought I'd be sharing that news ever again. But, God does enjoy surprises! Anyway, I will start a new thread when Crystal's baby is born!!!!! I swear, I'm about as excited to find out about that baby as she is!!!!
Wow! Such wonderful blessings all around! I'm so happy for you both (even happier it's not me ) --don't get me wrong, I LOVE my two, but I don't think I could handle any more. Congratulations, and keep us posted!
Heidi, does Crystal know? She will be so pleased for you!!! Congratulations!!! (And OKmom, I sure agree with that "not me" statement, LOL!)
Jackie... I wonder why (hehehe)... I wish somedays I could have more and then I come back to reality  Congratulations Heidi!
I started ten years too late with mine!!! I was over 40 when Phillip was born, and he really took a lot out of me. I don't think I could do it again, and don't want to find out.
Jackie~ Crystal knows! Brian asked tonight if I had told her (because I told him she's going in to have her baby, and I might be getting a middle-of-the-night call) and I told him "yes, dear, she's known longer than you have!" LOL And, you're right, she's thrilled. Settlers~ No need to be jealous of me (Crystal- maybe!). My first and only full-term pregnancy was 12 years ago (Ashley will be 12 in November). My second pregnancy ended after about 11 weeks- it was a tubal pregnancy that somehow went undetected and ruptured. After that, I only had one functioning tube and we tried again for awhile, but nothing. So, we adopted our dear and precious Gracie (who, by the way, no mother could love more!). And, now, about 5 years later, we got a BIG SURPRISE! Even I didn't expect this one. So, I'm still in the stage of trying to make sure this is reality; while all those around me are excited, surprised, thrilled to say the least! Brian and my mom are just blabbing to the world! I told them they should take out an ad in the paper.
oH Heidi I am so excited for you and your family. That is should wonderful news to have. I wish you and your family all the luck in the world. The baby will be well loved. Keep us in touch with your news too.
