I've been told the earlier you started your period, the earlier menopause can start. My gyn told me to expect some changes after I turned 40, and she wasn't kidding.
Or... the earlier you start the later you end - that's the more common thing that we see in the nursing field... Anybody remember the "Twighlight Zone" (I'm thinking of the music). Hmmmm... this could be interesting
Thank you Heidi - you are so sweet. We had a great time with you and the girls. I will get you the pictures of Jessie and Gracie. You know I have never heard that about menopause - is it really true??? Just curious since I was a young one to start.
HEIDI!!! SHUT YOUR MOUTH, GIRL!!! <G> (Can you tell I like all this color and font size? ) Well, if that were the case, it'd be a real miracle on God's part. Usually such things don't happen without human participation, so to speak, and these humans just ain't all that willing any more! And just recently, a friend in her 40's had a "surprise baby". She's got three kids, the middle one about twelve and with Down's. And there were some serious complications with this one's delivery. Her placenta seperated from her uterus. They had to take the baby IMMEDIATELY. There was miconium involved (which no one really understands unless you've been through it or are a nurse), and the mom ended up in ICU for a few days. She's home now, and at last report Mom and baby are doing fine. But I wonder if her age had anything to do with the comlications. Sure, it happens to younger women, and plenty of older ones are having kids just fine. But Phillip took so much out of me! I just don't think I'd be able to do it again. Also, I just don't have the patience I once had.
Okay ladies I was 9 when the curse started. I am 41 now as of last Saturday. Can I please have a break from it. I would lose my mind if I thought I was pregrant again. My body couldn't take it. I have thyriod problems and cholorestrol (mispelled) problems.
