Are you talking about quoting someone? If so, if you look at the bottom right of their post, there is a little blue button that says "quote." If you click it, that entire post will show up in your post. You can then delete any part you don't want.

To get a little more complicated, you can break up a quote to respond to the individual parts. The command to tell the site you're quoting someone is [ quote ] without the spaces. To end the quote is [ / quote ] without the spaces.

Meaning, if I want to quote the sentence "I love you", I would type (without the spaces within the brackets) [ quote ] I love you [ / quote ] and it would show up like this:

If you're talking about a simple copy/paste, you can do it with the mouse by highlighting the text, right click, copy, then right click where you want to put it and select paste. The keyboard commands (once the text is highlighted) are control+c to copy and control+v to paste (meaning you hit those keys at the same time.

How do you quote more than one person in one post?

It's ok. You just deleted the end tag (the [ / quote ]). Live and learn!

You can always go back and put it in. There is an edit button at the bottom of all of your own posts. Hit edit then type the end tag and *poof* it will be fixed.

You can type the quote tag around any text. So you can copy/paste into your message from several sources and put the quote tags around each bit. I know you can have the 'who you're quoting' bit there, but I haven't figured out how to put it in yet.
