I forgot to mention that from time to time we'll tell him to take a day off or an extended weekend off.

This summer after he had finished reading The Deathly Hallows I had him write a report on the whole series.
10 pages minimum. He did a pretty good job on it.

I'll give him another series to read next spring. Any suggestions?

We do Math, English, Science and Social 5 days a week. Health on Fridays, Latin M & W, French T& TH, Art if we have not done any art projects with sotw I add in extra fun stuff on friday. Because we do it daily I only cover a small amount each day so they are dnoe fairly quickly.

The kids also have extra curric's out of the house which vary by season/term. For the fall Ds has art class tuesday afternoons, swimming(not sure what day yet), CUbs on Mondays and gymnastics on saturday. DD has brownies(not sure night), swimming(not sure when yet), dance class wednesday and thursday nights, musical theatre and gymnastics on saturdays. Ds#2 has preschool daily, swimming friday mornings, dance and gymnastics on saturdays. Most of our extras are on saturdays.
