It's been two weeks since hubby was initially ill. After numerous tests and doctor consults, he's finally been diagnosed with heart disease. Next Thursday, he will be having dye injected into his heart to better see the blocks. They will than immediately do any repairs that are needed. As soon as he is recovered from that, he'll be able to schedule the hernia surgery - which is what started all this craziness. Our family doctor said that the hernia was an attention getter from God. If he hadn't gone in due to the pain, no one would have found the heart issues until it was too late. Just another example of God's mercy. Unfortunately this does mean that we will have no income for at least a month. I am trusting in God to provide for my family, but it's not easy to "let go and let God".
(((((hugs to you)))) Claraskids, I am praying for you and your husband and your family as of today to God above...
Claraskids, "There is no problem too big, God cannot solve it. There is no mountain too tall, He cannot move it. There is no storm too dark, God cannot calm it. There is no sorrow too deep, He cannot soothe it. If He carried the weight of the world upon His shoulders, I know my brother that He will carry you. If He carried the weight of the world upon His shoulders, I know my sister that He will carry you. He said, 'Come unto me all who are weary, and I will give you rest." ---------------------------------------------- Your husband and family are in my prayers.
I am praying!!! God will see you through this, all the way through! I am so thankful that his heart disease was revealed. God is good!
The heart procedure went well. His heart was in better shape than thought originally - Praise the Lord! He has now been cleared for hernia surgery, so we are working with the doctors on scheduling that in the near future. He is having a hard time walking right now due to pain at the original entry point for the heart surgery, but otherwise recovering well. Thanks for all your prayers!
Glad to hear things aren't as bad as they seemed. Praise God for that!! I know when my hubby had heart cath done he bruised so badly and had loads of trouble walking. That will get better in a few days. Then it turns major purple and ugly. God will supply your needs. He has ours for 29 months now. Lorna
